If you voted for Feinstein or any of her commie comrades you should be ashamed… very, very ashamed.  Actually, you should find the nearest interstate and start a game of leap frog in the middle of it.  Do us all a favor and cleanse our republics gene pool.  Pretty please with little Che cherries on top.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson plans to withdraw as President-elect Barack Obama’s nominee for secretary of commerce because of an unfolding investigation, a Democratic official told Politico on Sunday.

Obama accepted the withdrawal, an official said.

Obama aides said details were forthcoming.

My two cents?  Neither side will stop until someone “wins.”  Allahpundit  discusses what “winning” might look like.  I pray it looks like a bunch of dead Hamas terrorist with minimal civilian casualties.  We shall see.

Of course Al Jazeera has proclaimed it an attack on Gaza excluding the fact that the Hamas animals continue to fire into civilian areas of Israel.

Someone purty and smart has pictures and stuff. Funny how New Yorkers forget those buildings Islam “relieved” them of not so long ago.  I think all of these people should be rounded up and sent to Gaza to live under the regime they so ignorantly defend.

Prof. Whoopie makes a good quick point that opens the door to further debate, conversation and unhinged name calling.  Especially interesting in my opinion, are the doors opened for discussion regarding population control.

How often have we heard it correctly said that it was WWII and not FDR’s public works projects that solved the Great Depression?

Historians make the mistake of assuming that wartime spending for weapons put an end to the Depression. But how was that any different than government spending on public works projects? In the end, just like the public works projects, the weapons of WWII were financed with government debt.

The ugly truth is that the post war manufacturing boom of the 1950s resulted because millions of working age men and women died during the war.

The war put an end to the depression by creating wants and needs. A host of new technologies for consumers wanting to rebuild their lives. But most importantly it reduced the labor pool. It took a lot of potential workers out of the employment market and made the survivors a more valuable commodity. The result was plenty of high paying jobs building all the new technologies that rebuilt a war ravaged planet.

If Obama truly wants to stimulate our economy, he would need to find a way to engineer a calamity which would kill off about 20% of the human population worldwide. And although we hope he’d never do such a thing, he’s just naive enough to let something of the sort happen on his watch.

I’m one of the guilty attributing WWII with lifting us from the Great Depression (I think the one Obama will put us in, and blame Bush for, will have to be called the Super Terrific Gigante Greater Depression), and I must state that Prof. Whoopies logic is sound, BUT, I must inject what I like to call the “ass whoop factor.”

Kicking Nazi ass did far more for American credibility and our economy than building some stupid road that a local municipality or state would have built anyway, WITHOUT the federal gub’ment.  You know, your tax dollar paying for a road on the other side of the country that you’ll never use?  Group thinking is stinking thinking.  Professor Whoopie is aware of that though…

I would argue also that Obama is NOT naive…

Obama is many things, stupid or naive he isn’t, he knows full well what he’s doing.  Now does he HATE America and its Constitution enough to allow a “calamity” to happen on his watch?

Now as far as population control goes?  I’ll venture to say this at the risk of losing one of my three readers.  There’s a reason so many die in Africa, its called natural population control.  When animals (even humans) over-populate an area that can’t sustain them and continue to breed uncontrollably, turn on the BBC to see the result.  The Chinese figured it out long ago.
