Uhh sure… I am often very un-PC though… :)
Manners say I should do the same for you…. but where to put a link to a girly pink blog???? hmmmm

David posted on March 30th 2008

1. Angel’s “pink girly blog” is often more “un-PC” than even you might be. *heh*
2. About that name for your blog…

democrat=reactionary pseudo-communist/socialist tyrannical statist control freak

Of course, nowadays, republican=reactionary pseudo-communist/socialist tyrannical statist control freak LITE… *sigh*

I simply prefer the descriptives, Dhimmicrap and Repugnican’t, or even simply The Uniparty, since both sides of the aisle seem intent on driving the U.S. off a cliff, their only real argument being about the speed at which they want to be going when they reach the edge.

The few real “mavericks” (unlike the phony Mass Media Podpeople labeled “maverick”–Juan Mexicain) such as John Linder and perhaps Jim DeMint and one or two others who aren’t yet beyond all hope of redemption from the sin of being politicians *spit* are simply too few in number to turn the tide, IMO.

And it’s all the fault of The People, which is why the Founders were so leery of democracy, preferring to establish a representative federal republic… something which has been moribund since Appomattox. *heh*

I’ll read here some more. What I’ve seen so far prompts me to very nearly second my buddy Angel’s thoughts of blogrolling this place. (Of course, I’ve already collected more blogs worth reading than I have time for, but that’s just the way it goes. :-))

Het David, thanks for stopping by, and youve been rolled//////

I am pretty sure we ARE a Representative Federal Republic, someone forgot to tell all the politicians though…

Its time for another Boston Tea Party……

now what to do with that danged pink blog…..

David posted on March 30th 2008

“I am pretty sure we ARE a Representative Federal Republic…”

Well, that’s what the Constitution says, but ever since the 14th Amendment was made the law of the land instead, insitutionalizing the voiding of the 10th Amendment (and much of the rest of the Constitution), since extended by improper applications of newly-discovered “meanings” somehow “found” in it to the advantage of the political class, at the cost of the People.

(And yes, there were some good intentions behind the amendment. Some. God save us from politicians with good intentions!)

But that’s what we’re left with today: a federal government that has a resemblance to the representative federal republic design of the Founders in much the same sense that a photo of a painting of the shadow of a statue of a man has to the man himself. IOW, the resemblance is tenuous at best; a resemblance in word alone.

*sigh*

I highly recommend The Founders’ Constitution, a book that ought to be required reading for graduation from high school, IMO. It’s densly-populated with real words, though, so it’s at about a (real) eighth grade level, or about three grades too advanced for a majority of today’s high school seniors. Heck, it’s beyond most college graduates, nowadays, because it’s compiled of the writings of the Founders themselves, along with other serious political contemporaries, like Edmund Burke (his speech before the British Parliament in 1775 is NOT to be missed! Powerful and instructive).

@ David
I saved it to my faves to give a read when I can… I just started Machievelli again (always a good re-read) and just finished a peice of trash from Naomi Wolf called “The End of America”.. I’m doing a “book report” of sorts on it now……..

When the country splits, I hope you and I are on the same side…

Beautiful Murderer…

This story has been around since last fall, but I just found it today and found it very disturbing. This is an example of the main stream medias ability to put a pretty face on an ugly, grotesque, horrific act.
