THE KENNEDY LEGACY

Edward Kennedy, in his present health crisis, has been all but nominated for sainthood the past few days.  Republican and socialist alike are taking every opportunity to line up and kiss his commie ring, to stand before the cameras and microphones and extol the virtues of this “great” man who has given his life in service of his country.  Bull butter!

Any decent person would never make light of his health condition or wish him ill will, I personally wish him a speedy recovery and return to health.  But for any true American to think for one second that this man did anything to better our fine Republic, and paint his “service” as anything other than traitorous, criminal and plain old every day foul is not being honest.  Setting aside for now his episode at Chappaquiddick, let’s take a look at what the fine Senator Kennedy has done for America courtesy of the Michael Savage folks.

  • Ted Kennedy was a strong supporter of the 1965 Hart-Celler Act — signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson — which dramatically changed US immigration policy. This legislation replaced the Immigration Act of 1924, which favored immigrants from northern and western Europe. Proponents of the 1965 bill argued that immigration laws and quotas were discriminatory, and that American immigration policy should accept people not on the basis of their nationality.

  • Kennedy is one of only five senators who have publicly announced support for same-sex marriage.

For any Republican to get in front of the camera’s and carry on about Kennedy’s service to our country is being dishonest, that means you Johnny boy McCain.  He has for decades done everything he could to make America weaker, more foul and immoral and even ended a life in the process.

His illness does not absolve him from the reckless abandonment he has displayed during his years in the senate.

On a somewhat related note, Robert Byrd broke down today on the senate floor, invoking G-D to bless Kennedy.  The only thing I took from watching this embarrassing display was, what in the world is this old fool doing shaping policy for our great republic?  He looks like he couldn’t find the bathroom on his own, much less perform the important job of Senator.

These are just more examples of why we need to completely clean house of these career politicians, socialist and republican alike.
