Get used to it folks, our fine republic is going to have to be on fire and in famine before the blind open their eyes to the sickness that is liberalism.  The radical America hating leftist calling themselves ‘justices” have been doling out shin kicks to our fine Republic’s legs every chance they get and its going to get worse, today they started aiming at the head.

“Both a Scalia and a Ginsburg will arrive at the same place most of the time,” Obama said during the Roberts confirmation hearings. “What matters at the Supreme Court is those 5 percent of cases that are truly difficult. … That last mile can only be determined on the basis of one’s deepest values, one’s core concerns, one’s broader perspectives on how the world works and the depth and breadth of one’s empathy.”

McCain answered derisively in a recent speech recalling Obama’s reference to a judge’s “deepest values” and “empathy.”

“These vague words attempt to justify judicial activism,” he said. “Come to think, they sound like an activist judge wrote them.”

Ya think?  The whole damned mess is summed up by Justice Scalia.

Justice Antonin Scalia, in dissent: “The game of bait-and-switch that today’s opinion plays upon the nation’s commander in chief will make the war harder on us. It will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed. That consequence would be tolerable if necessary to preserve a time-honored legal principle vital to our constitutional republic. But it is this court’s blatant abandonment of such a principle that produces the decision today.”

“Today the court warps our Constitution in a way that goes beyond the narrow issue of the reach of the Suspension Clause. … It blatantly misdescribes important precedents … It breaks a chain of precedent as old as the common law that prohibits judicial inquiry into detentions of aliens abroad … And, most tragically, it sets our military commanders the impossible task of proving to a civilian court, under whatever standards this court devises in the future, that evidence supports the confinement of each and every enemy prisoner. The nation will live to regret what the court has done today.”

Thank you filthy five, you have done a great disservice to your country today.

McCain says:

BOSTON, MA — Sen. McCain told reporters Thursday that the Supreme Court decision declaring that foreign terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay have rights under the Constitution to use civilian courts, “concerns” him.

“I was just informed of the Supreme Court decision. I haven’t had a chance to read the opinion yet. It obviously concerns me. These are unlawful combatants, they are not American citizens and I think we should pay attention to Justice Roberts’ (dissenting) opinion in this decision,” McCain said at a Boston press conference this morning, an hour after the ruling was made public. “But it is a decision that the Supreme Court has made. Now we need to move forward.”

As you know, I always favored closing of Guantanamo Bay and I still think that we ought to do that.

Then the piece of shit Obama weighs in:

Today’s Supreme Court decision ensures that we can protect our nation and bring terrorists to justice, while also protecting our core values. The Court’s decision is a rejection of the Bush Administration’s attempt to create a legal black hole at Guantanamo - yet another failed policy supported by John McCain.

The whole thing makes me sick, we should be in the streets.
