With all the political jockeying in the USA presently, one is left with nothing but complete confusion.  Hillary wants Obama to be her VP.  Maybe I did not learn the lessons I should have, but as I see it Obama is ahead of her in the running, so I would think it should be the other way around.  Is she really that ignorant, to think that someone who is winning against her would give up the lead and settle for second place?  If so, then she is definitely not Presidential material.  Or is it just her arrogance showing through?

I, personally, do not want either of them running for public office, since neither of them have any background experience to lead our nation.  Both have some skeletons in their closets, which should disqualify them from running for any office in this country.  Eight years in the far end of the white house, well away from her lawfully wedded husband, would not lend much credence to Hillary’s claim to having the knowledge and experience to take over on "day one".  Growing up in a Muslim environment and attending a midrash, and later hob-knobbing with questionable characters is not my idea of a prospective good president, so that eliminates Obama.

Terrorists Still Have the Advantage

America, by the inaction of the U.S. House of Representatives, has been weakened substantially in fighting terrorism.

As I reported last week, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) and her left-wing allies decided to leave Washington without voting on the bipartisan Senate bill that would have extended key provisions of the Protect America Act, a bill that is essential for America’s ability to quickly and deftly track terrorist communications overseas.

This abdication of responsibility by such a high-ranking member of our government has been the most amazing anti-national security action by Congress in decades.

We already covered how it will feel for men if Hillary Clinton gets the POTUS job.  Now, we shall see what it would feel like for a woman.

There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain.

Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.

Thomas Paine, 1780

These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated. Britain, with an army to enforce her tyranny, has declared that she has a right (not only to TAX) but "to BIND us in ALL CASES WHATSOEVER," and if being bound in that manner, is not slavery, then is there not such a thing as slavery upon earth. Even the expression is impious; for so unlimited a power can belong only to God.

This is just too rich.  It begs for ridicule.  Soooo here goes!  TRM

By Susan Milligan, Boston Globe Staff

WASHINGTON - As Hillary Clinton struggles to regain her momentum in the presidential race, frustrated feminists are looking at what they see as the ultimate glass ceiling: A female candidate with a hyper-substantive career is now threatened with losing the nomination to a man whose charismatic style and powerful rhetoric are trumping her decades of experience.

Hyper-substantive career?  Decades of experience?  At doing what?  Lying, cheating, scamming, covering up her husband’s affairs by destroying the hapless wenches?  The woman has leached off of her husband’s political career from day one.  Her one attempt at policy was the health care debacle.  Worked out great for her didn’t it?

The style-vs.-substance clash is common to presidential contests, and has hurt wonky male candidates as well, women’s leaders say. But they argue that Clinton has a peculiar burden in this year’s contest because she never would have been able to reach the final stages of the nomination process unless she had spent her life emphasizing her professional record over stylistic abilities.

I challenge the entire blog universe to name one goddamned thing that could pass for a “professional record”.  Name one!

Rush in a Hurry…

Armstrong Williams reports that the Obama campaign and New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg have devised a plan in the event that Hillary gets the nomination. Bloomberg would give $1 billion to Obama to run as an independent with Bloomberg as his running mate. It’s just a rumor, but if it happened, it would destroy the Democrat Party.

Don’t forget: the Clintons’ desire for power supersedes the voters, the Democrat Party, and the country. The purpose of superdelegates is for party elders to wrest control of the nomination in case the people make the wrong choice. We must hope Hillary "wins" and blows up the Democrat convention like 1968. Enter Bloomberg?

A recent study by a Washington-based watchdog group disclosed their findings of Congressional “pork” appropriations.  Republican’s & Dimocrats(S) alike are guilty of it.  But that’s how they stay in office right?  “Vote for me and I’ll build a “research center” dedicated and named after… me!”  Full story here…

Well Mitt you went and did it didn’t you?  You went from my number two choice behind Fred Thompson to dropping out and then finally to hitting bottom by endorsing John "don’t piss me off" McCain.  I can understand the concept of "taking one for the team" and a part of me doesn’t blame you.  But…

I feel if you had just remained quite and went about returning to your Governor (correction via Wickle), fatherly duties, we all would have felt a lot better about life and kept what high opinion’s we had of you intact.  But, you went and did it anyway didn’t you?

A Conservative Declaration of Independence and the Democrats’ Dilemma

by Newt Gingrich

This weekend, I had the opportunity to address CPAC — the Conservative Political Action Conference. This is the same group to which Ronald Reagan delivered his historic "bold colors, not pale pastels" speech in 1975, sparking a new center-right coalition that would become the ground troops of the Reagan Revolution.

From the Chicago Sun Times

BY ROSALIND ROSSI Education Reporter

Angry Chicago Latino parents threatened Tuesday to keep their kids home on test day next month if state education officials insist on giving students who are still learning English an achievement test in English.

Facing threats of federal sanctions, state officials were ordered last October to give the same state tests native English speakers take to some 60,000 Illinois public school kids who haven’t yet mastered English.

Just came across a tidbit of info that almost made me surrender my lunch to the tidy bowl man.  Seem’s Jose Padilla, the scumbag, U.S. citizen that was convicted of conspiring to wage jihad has found a suitable scumbag collegue in the form of Jonathan Freiman, an attorney at a Yale Law School human rights clinic to sue John Yoo for being central to the system that so mistreated him.  Oh boo-hoo for the terrorist.

What’s just as ridiculous as the charges brought against him are the reasons it was brought in the first place.  It seems the evil, bad, Satan America made him lose some sleep, played Ted Nugent music too loud (Ted would be proud I am sure), and made him stand up for too long.  Maybe we should have just let his plans come to fruition instead of treat this man so horribly, I mean, HOW DARE US!

Here we go, more rounds of welfare scams in two of the most liberal places on earth, "California child care scams" and "Britain supporting children in Poland".  As I mentioned in a past article here, it truly is a testament to the utter failure the socialist entitlement lifestyle is.  Still don’t get it do you?

You’ve all seen the news reports of Deputy Charlotte Marshall Jones’ heinous act of dumping the poor guy in a wheelchair to the ground and then rummaging through his pockets.  The site of it alone left me in disbelief.  I mean, c’mon, what kind of an asshat would do something like this.  Here’s where my "steel trap" of a brain went into over time.

I noticed everyone involved and in the immediate area were black, the victim, white.  You already know where I am going with this don’t you?

Barack Obama has unveiled his education plan. He wants to spend $18 billion to encourage universal pre-K, expand teacher mentoring programs, reward teachers with increased pay (not tied to standardized scores), and remove failing teachers from classrooms and replace them with ones who are "competent." Yeah, right … like he will ever be able to pass that one by the teachers’ unions.
